Backed by research. Designed for real environments.
Established research informs Vidal’s approach — translated into practical systems for real indoor spaces.
Better air, better cognition
Harvard Healthy Buildings research has shown that better indoor air quality and enhanced ventilation are associated with stronger cognitive performance. In Harvard’s early controlled studies, cognitive scores improved substantially under improved indoor conditions, and later Healthy Buildings work linked ventilation and PM2.5 exposure to cognitive test performance in office environments.
Ventilation matters in schools
Harvard’s Schools for Health materials highlight that good ventilation supports a healthier, more productive indoor environment in schools and note established guidance for classroom ventilation. This supports the case for healthier, cognition-supportive environments for students and educators.
Dampness & mould affect health
The World Health Organization identifies dampness and mould as significant indoor environmental concerns and links building moisture and microbial pollution with adverse health effects. This is especially relevant in environments where vulnerable occupants may be exposed over long periods.
Airborne risk control is now standard
ASHRAE Standard 241 establishes minimum requirements intended to reduce disease transmission risk from infectious aerosols in indoor spaces. This reinforces the importance of ventilation, air cleaning, and operational preparedness in shared environments.
